it’s better to be good-looking than being talented.

If you’re a hot girl or guy, sometimes, you do things that suck and everyone compliments you.

I see this on youtube all the time. I’ll watch a video of someone playing a cover of a song I like and it’s horrible, but so many people defend the videomaker because they are a girl or a guy or whatever.

Like here, where this girl does a cover of Angeles by Elliott Smith and completely blows. BUT, since she’s a girl and I can see some people finding her attractive, she gets hella comments saying stuff like

“This one is better than a lot of the others I’ve seen!!! 5/5”

It’s so lame because it’s not. Plus, you don’t see dudes trying to defend other dudes about their youtube videos; they’re ruthless. But once they watch a crappy girl video they become all merciful in the hopes of getting some internet poonani.

I used to play World of Warcraft (Yeah I know, someone cool like me used to play that lame stuff?) and whenever it is revealed that a player is a girl, all the guys get all up on her grill and kiss her ass.

I’m not saying that all good-looking people suck at what they do, I’m saying that when good-looking people suck, it’s a little bit sugar-coated.
